• Dashur Pyramids with the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid.

• Niuserre and Sahure Sun Temples (by special permission only, must be arranged in advance).

• The Pyramid at Meidum.  Sometimes called the "Fallen Pyramid." (advance permission required)

• Old Cairo with the historic Coptic churches and synagogue.

• Citadel and Mohammed Ali Mosque (called the "Alabaster Mosque").

• Shopping at the historic Khan El Khalili bazaar, a papyrus institute, perfumery, carpet school, gold shop, souvenir shop.

• There are also a number of other museums and mosques in Cairo that are interesting.
